Keep bras, intimates and other delicate fabrics looking fresh and new with these five tips:

1. Fasten the hooks on the bra before you wash it. This will prevent them catching on trim or on other clothes.
2. Hand-wash delicates to prolong their life. Use cool water and a gentle soap made for delicate fabrics (such as Lovlast).
3. If you plan to use the washing machine, put your bra and other delicates in a lingerie bag or laundry bag.
4. Wash the bra in cool water on the delicate cycle, using a mild detergent.
5. Air-dry the bra after washing.
