This month, a group of Solutions employees and other associates from the Norm Thompson Outfitters family of brands joined 92 other teams from local businesses and organizations to walk in Relay For Life of Hillsboro 2009, a fundraising event benefiting the American Cancer Society.

Cancer touches all of us at Solutions…in part because members of our own “family” have had their lives affected by it. We know that fighting cancer, like putting out a catalog or maintaining a web site, is a team effort. The impact we make together is much greater than what any of us could do alone.

And did we ever make an impact! It may have been our first year participating in this event, but “Norm Thompson Winners For Life” was the fifth-highest fundraising team at the event. We were even awarded a certificate of achievement by ACS!

We’re already planning to make next year’s Rally even bigger and better…stay tuned!
