Clean And Put Away Your Winter Comforter

Winter is coming to an end – time to put away your cold-weather comforter! It’s a good idea to have comforters cleaned professionally, especially if they’re quilted or tailored. If you do decided to launder yours yourself, use a commercial-sized washing machine (check your local Laundromat) and set it on the shortest wash cycle possible. To avoid washing a comforter more often than necessary, air it regularly and use a duvet cover that can be washed separately to protect it from dust and dirt.
